CLEVER DRIPPER



Recipe

  • 20g of freshly ground coffee (medium-coarse grind, similar to sea salt)
  • 300ml of filtered water (heated to 93°C)



Instructions

  1. Prepare the Filter and Dripper
    • Place a No. 4 paper filter into the Clever Dripper after folding the ridged edges.
    • Rinse the filter with hot water to remove any paper taste and preheat the dripper. Discard the rinse water.
  2. Add Coffee and Bloom
    • Add the 20g of coffee grounds into the filter, ensuring an even distribution.
    • Pour all 300ml of hot water in one steady pour, fully saturating the coffee grounds.
  3. Steep and Extract
    • After 1 minute, stir the crust that has been formed gently 3–5 times in a cross shaped pattern.
    • Cover the Clever Dripper and allow the coffee to steep for 1 more minute.
  4. Drain and Serve          
    • After steeping, place the Clever Dripper onto your cup or server, triggering the release mechanism.
    • Allow the coffee to fully drain, which should take approximately 2 minutes.
    • Remove the dripper, swirl the brewed coffee gently, and serve immediately.
